Exciting Transition to Community Benefit Fund for LHC Procurement Group Partners

As a not-for-profit organisation committed to improving lives and places through quality procurement solutions, LHC Procurement Group is proud to announce a pivotal shift in how we deliver community benefits.

We have long supported social value initiatives through our Community Benefit Fund (CBF), allocating resources to our Committee Partners for impactful local projects. Now, we are taking this commitment even further.

Starting April 2025, LHC will transition away from traditional client rebates and fully embrace the CBF model. Associate Partners will receive community funding allocations tied directly to the projects delivered via our frameworks. This approach ensures we maximise the meaningful community impact both locally and nationally.

What Does This Mean for Our Partners?

  • 2024-2025 Transition Period: From April 1 2024, to March 31 2025, registered Associate Partners will continue receiving their rebates.
  • Introducing the CBF: Beginning April 1, 2025, partners will qualify for CBF allocations, enabling funding disbursement in 2026.
  • Reframing “Rebate”: The term "rebate" is being retired, replaced with "Community Benefit Fund allocation," reflecting our dedication to social value.

Why This Matters

LHC’s renewed Social Value Strategy, developed in partnership with HACT, highlights our genuine commitment to transforming lives through impactful initiatives. With the Community Benefit Fund at the core of our efforts, partners can:

  • Advance their own social value agendas with LHC’s support.
  • Contribute to measurable community impact.
  • Discover and champion local social value initiatives.

Since its establishment in 2015, the CBF has empowered members to fund projects addressing critical local needs. This transition underscores our belief in giving back to communities, ensuring social value remains central to everything we do.

We will continue to increase the impact delivered through the hard work of our charitable and social value activities both locally and nationally.

Together, let’s create lasting change for communities across the UK.
