Repairs and Maintenance DPS

Our Repairs and Maintenance DPS is an open market solution designed to provide public sector buyers access to pool of pre-qualified suppliers for the provision of repair, disrepair, maintenance and replacement works to building fabric, equipment and the building environment.  

The DPS sets out to provide access to high-quality products and services across a range workstreams that: 

Support the local economy

Offer flexibility for both clients and suppliers

Promote environmental sustainability

Align with recognised industry standards & approved codes of practice

Generate lasting social value in local communities

The scope of the DPS will be split across the following four workstreams:

WS1 - Building envelope, structure, internal environment, and openings

  • Roofing
  • External works and structure
  • Internal repairs (including damp and mould)
  • Building openings (Windows and doors)

WS2 - M&E and associated plant and services

  • Plumbing and water quality
  • Heating, and cooling, ventilation controls and internal environment 
  • Electrical systems and safety
  • Lifts
  • Lifting equipment, aids and adaptations
  • Detection systems

WS3 - Environmental and Infestation

  • Environmental safety, and property protection
  • Infestation, rodents, and vermin
  • Drainage (Foul water, surface water, flooding, and water attenuation)

WS4 - Multi-disciplinary services

Requirements to join the Repairs and Maintenance DPS

Dynamic Purchasing Systems have fewer entry requirements, lowering barriers for SMEs and enabling greater flexibility to tailor solutions to client needs.

General requirements:

  • Awareness and commitment to working in accordance with recognised standards, including ISO accreditations 
  • Submission of a suitable case study which demonstrates capability and previous experience for the elements being bid for

Workstream 1: Building envelope, structure, internal environment, and openings

Lot 1a - Roofing

Mandatory Qualifications

N/A - however a previous case study endorsed by a client is required to support the claim of ability to undertake such work. The question set also includes a question regarding competency (knowledge, training, and experience to be evidenced).

Lot 1b - External works and structure

Mandatory Qualifications

Membership of a recognised construction or building industry scheme

Lot 1c - Internal works (including damp and mould)

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Award in Understanding and Prevention of Damp and Mould in Housing.

Lot 1d – Building openings (Windows and doors)
