Q&A with our Client Support Manager, Yanni Massouras

Q1. 8 months into your new role as the Client Support Manager for the South East region, how has your experience been so far?

My experience working within the public sector has been very meaningful and fulfilling. I provide support and advice on procurement processes, project management, and quality control, all of which aim to improve the community and quality of life.

Q2. What role does LHC play in the Public Sector? How can you support and contribute to this?

LHC provides the public sector with simplified procurement frameworks for the construction and refurbishment sectors. Our in-house team and carefully selected appointed companies support our clients throughout the process.

As a Client Support Manager, I play a crucial role in managing our clients' portfolio of planned projects, providing comprehensive solutions, and assisting them with various needs and advice.

Q3. What do you think are the challenges faced by public-sector housing?

They must manage many old public sector buildings/housing that need repairs and maintenance while ensuring tenants are unaffected by major construction projects and have somewhere safe to live. Also, there is a need to meet deadlines for the completion of projects.

Q4. How can LHC help find a solution to these challenges?

We not only provide them with great frameworks but also an exceptional service. We aim to support them throughout the project to ensure it is delivered on time and in high quality. Eliminating the extra burden of managing the project and dealing with obstacles during the project.

Q5. We have recently launched our RM3 (Refurbishment and Modernisation) framework. What message would you like to give to our public sector clients on the benefits of using this framework? What makes this framework so unique?

This framework provides public sector organisations with an efficient, value-for-money procurement route to deliver important refurbishment, improvement and modernisation projects that ensure their buildings are well maintained and improve the lives of tenants and occupants within them.

Key features:

  • Provides equal opportunities for suppliers of all sizes to promote local economic development.
  • Ability to deliver work in a domestic and non-domestic setting.
  • A flexible approach allows additional work to be procured through multi-disciplinary lots.
  • Appointment of companies that can support Partners in delivering social value and community benefits.

Q6. What are the other frameworks launching this year?

  1. Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation (N9)

Q7. Finally, what message would you give to your clients? Why should clients choose to work with us?

Our wealth of knowledge and experience allows us to understand and support your unique projects. We are committed to providing personalised solutions, recognising that each client's needs are different.

Our team is not just here to help, but to be your dedicated partner throughout your project. We are committed to providing you with a sense of security and confidence, knowing that we are always there to support you.
