The Richmond Housing Partnership project demonstrates how targeted procurement can address pressing needs in housing upgrades. With the challenge of ageing pitched roofs on over 100 properties, Richmond Housing Partnership turned to the Roofing Systems and Associated Works (RS4) framework to secure an effective and sustainable solution.

Millenium Community Solutions used the LHC Community Benefit Fund to implement an impactful educational programme aimed at teaching fifty young people learnt how to code, while also enhancing their creative thinking skills. The programme was designed with a clear objective: to equip 70% of participants with basic coding skills by the end of the course.

To celebrate International Women's Day 2024, we bring to you a story of Women's empowerment delivered through our Community Benefit Fund. Pathways to Healing is an exclusive 6-week group programme designed for women who have survived Domestic Abuse (DA) and are ready to embark on their journey of healing. The programme offered support, strategies, and resources to the women, encouraging them to be resilient and set goals for the future.
The project provided enterprise training to socially excluded young adults (18-25 years old), in the London Borough of Hackney, who had barriers to education, employment, or training and came from impoverished backgrounds. The pandemic made things worse for these young people with the crisis resulting in social isolation, job loss, and education disruption.
Through this project wellbeing workshops for 3 cohorts of older adults (8-12 participants) were organised, in the Hillingdon Borough, which offered crucial mental health support. The groups greatly benefitted from more emotional support and a space that provided the opportunity to connect, in turn gaining peer support through shared experiences.
The Arts for Health programme was awarded the community benefit fund to provide an innovative initiative developed by MORE HORIZONS Charity to use Bollywood dance and music for workout sessions. Aimed to improve physical activity, mental well-being and reduce isolation and health inequalities.
The funding for the Open Havelock regeneration project has helped many residents who have lived there for over 30 years to enjoy the Grand Union Canal, which is unique to the local area, and which was previously underutilised. It has also contributed to the redevelopment of disused garages a footbridge, creating a new pedestrian and a cycling link to the Havelock estate.
