Mitchell Place, situated in Redhill, Surrey, is a pioneering project that offers 8 high-quality temporary housing units to young first-time mothers using modular, off-site building techniques. Mitchell Place not only sets a new standard for modern, eco-friendly housing solutions but also plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable living, inspiring a greener future for all.

A dedicated female project team at Playle and Partners crafted the design of Mitchell Place. Rollalong, under the leadership of project director Ian Steele, brought the project to life. He delivered the project’s innovative construction, mentioning, “Mitchell Place is a modular build, with the units being constructed off-site and then assembled on-site. This sustainable, cutting-edge method is highly energy efficient, offering long-term benefits, including reduced costs, for our clients.”

The new development is named after the former Transform Chief Executive Paul Mitchell. He stated “Mitchell Place is the realisation of a dream that began in 1998 with the creation of Chaucer Court, the ‘sister’ building to this one, so I am delighted that Transform, Rollalong and Playle and Partners have been able to bring this vision to life and using such sustainable, modern construction methods. I know Mitchell Place will be hugely appreciated by all who live here and call it home.”
