LHC named in Grenfell Tower Inquiry
LHC STATEMENT: The latest round of evidence at the Grenfell Tower Inquiry has mentioned LHC in connection with the fire doors. We can confirm that the fire doors originally installed in the building were procured via one of our frameworks.
The framework went live in 2008 and was used for the supply and installation of doors and doorsets. It was designed for local authorities and social landlords to use.
Three companies were appointed to the framework – IG Doors Ltd, Manse Masterdor Ltd and SBP Ltd – Permadoor – following a detailed assessment and evaluation process.
As part of our ongoing management of the framework, LHC carried out site visits to a random sample of properties to check that the door installations standards were met.
We are continuing to work closely with the Inquiry, offering our help and support where needed.
