Q: Can you share a bit about your background, and your experience in the industry?

A: Certainly! I have an architecture degree and have worked in various surveying roles in the housing and education sectors. My experience includes managing planned investment works with a focus on energy efficiency and decarbonisation, overseeing stock condition survey programmes, contract management, and working in responsive repairs and void refurbishments.

Q: What motivated you to join LHC and become the Technical Support Manager for the Midlands region?

A: The role at LHC appealed to me as it would allow me to build on my previous experience and incorporate this into our offering to clients. I was particularly drawn towards LHC's commitment to social value and improving lives through quality procurement solutions.

Q: What will some key responsibilities be in your new role as Technical Support Manager for the Midlands region?

A: In my role, I will support LHC Partners and appointed companies, represent LHC at project meetings, assist the Regional Procurement Manager with tender documentation, inspect work sites, and manage quality and compliance issues. I will engage with clients and partners through meetings, events, and workshops, address technical queries, develop relationships, ensure compliance with UK Public Procurement Regulations, and support the LHC Director as required.
