At LHC, building better communities starts with creating a better, more inclusive industry. That’s why we were proud to attend, exhibit, and participate in the Diversity and Inclusion in Construction (DIIC) Conference, which took place on the 30^th of October, an event held in celebration of Black History Month.

Like many of us, I’m a firm believer in the power of physical activity. It’s my personal outlet for stress, a source of energy, and a key part of my wellbeing. So, when LHC offered us 1.5 volunteer days, I knew I wanted to spend it with a charity that shares this passion. This September, LHC hosted our public sector clients and industry experts at The Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch for our AGM and Modular Buildings event. The day provided a dynamic forum for exploring how we can deliver essential buildings faster, more efficiently, and in line with net-zero ambitions. The answer, as demonstrated throughout the event, was the strategic implementation of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).

Annie Ngemi, our Business Coordinator, volunteered at Rayners Lane Baptist Church. She was buzzing with excitement as she prepared for one of the highlights of the Church’s year: their annual Holiday Bible Club - The Greatest Journey! Their halls were filled with the energy and laughter of children from the local communities.
